Welcome to DOT TO TOT Antenatal Classes!
My name is Annelle Murphy, and I am a registered nurse, midwife and Public Health Nurse. I trained in University College Galway, the National Maternity Hospital Dublin, and University College Cork.
I am currently studying for the qualification of Certified Lactation Consultant. I strongly believe in continued professional and personal development. I attend many workshops on the subject of antenatal and breastfeeding education on an annual basis.
I have spent many years facilitating antenatal classes. I believe that the education and support provided throughout my class empowers parents with knowledge, confidence and belief to birth their babies. The information, advice and support is provided in a relaxed, stress-free class. This will also have a positive effect on how both prospective parents adapt to parenthood.
Positive Birth Experience
Becoming a parent can be one of the most life-changing events in a person’s life. The aim of DOT TO TOT antenatal classes is to improve your knowledge skills and confidence. This will prepare you for a positive birth experience, and the future demands of parenthood.
Thankfully I have four wonderful children, each with a very different birthing experience. Each day, I learn to parent through the parenting of my own children. I have experienced the very real trials and tribulations that parenthood bring, allowing me to give real and practical advice during the class.
Becoming a Parent
Throughout the delivery of a DOT TO TOT antenatal class, I bring both my professional and personal experience of childbirth and parenting. This helps prepare expectant parents for the exciting road ahead.
